Vinomofo Wine Deals

Yes Ned Goodwin review. Haven't tried their wines since a visit to the winery some years back where we abandoned the tasting due to very strong aromas from the merchandise being sold in the tasting area.

I really enjoyed this GSM, so much so I've ordered another 6!

Pretty sure it's St Hallett Old Block. I haven't had 2017 but it's generally a very good wine.
$142.50 at Dan's. Can't easily find a link on VM.

97 Points - James Halliday
"Elegant and perfumed wine, reflecting the cool vintage to best effect ... Always a classy wine."

This incredible winery has firmly established a reputation for crafting wines with exceptional quality and character. Early on, they thankfully had the foresight to save their old Barossa vines, the fruit of which is now used to craft this flagship Shiraz and the jewel in their crown.

Fruit for the 2017 is sourced from ancient vines as old as 1870, the youngest 1936, averaging close to 100 years old. Only the best old vine parcels are considered and each parcel was harvested and fermented separately, based on their unique character.

On the nose, expect a complex and elegant array of dark fruits with rich dark chocolate notes and cinnamon spice. The palate, thanks to the incredible vine age, has immense concentration and depth while still maintaining a sense of elegance and vibrance. There's flavours of ripe plum and decadent dark chocolate at the core, with notes of cinnamon, black pepper, nutmeg and well integrated cedar oak. The acid line is lively and well defined, and its balanced finish is incredibly long and harmonious.

Alcohol: 14.7%
Cellaring potential: 2041
Down from $160.00 /btl RRP to $79.90 /btl in 6 packs

Anyone have experience with this one?

Appears to be:
Mine just arrived so decided to crack one. Medium bodied at best, earthy and peppery/spicy on the nose, savoury redcurrants and blackberry undercurrent, light on its feet with bright acidity and the slightest drying tannins on the finish. Not overly long, but I rather like it, definitely value for money at the price. However, if you like big chop your balls off Shiraz, this ain't going to be for you. Good food wine I reckon for both red and white meats, but won't cope with rich sauces I suspect.

This recent order of mine took nearly two weeks. Ordered 3 May, picked up by Auspost 5 May.
Similar experience for me. I sent a message to Vinomofo expressing my frustration with the delay and received a goodwill credit of $20.
