Not sure if I should post this here, so tell me if not and I'll remove it, but I use WineStar to buy from occasionally and they have a decent deal at the moment for Wolf Blass Red Label Shiraz Cabernet 2013 at $107.88/dozen delivered.
As they describe it:
- Gold Medal ~ Royal Sydney Wine Show 2015
- (95 Points ~ Royal Sydney Wine Show 2015 )
- Gold Medal ~ Royal Perth Wine Show 2015
- Gold Medal ~ China Wine & Spirits Awards Best Value 2015
- Silver Medal ~ National Wine Show of Australia 2014
- 90 Points ~ Royal Queensland Wine Show 2014
Only just bottled, the 2013 Red Label saluted when it was shown at the biggest and most prestigious wine competition in China last year. Domestically, it scored 90 Points at Royal Queensland which earned it a spot at the National Wine Show where it won a Silver Medal, the same result for another now famous Shiraz Cab, the Barry Bros. Once it settled in the bottle, it then began achieving even greater results. A Gold Medal at Royal Perth, a Gold Medal at the 2015 China Awards and most recently a massive 95 Points and Gold Medal at one of Australia's biggest shows, Royal Sydney. In fact, it is worth noting the Royal Sydney gong was in an open - not commercial class. Indeed it was beaten to the Trophy by one point!
I figure for $9 it's worth a shot, even if it's just a quaffer
