Like moa99, I just noticed as I was booking a ticket that I've been given Platinum when I noticed the luggage options disappeared once I logged into my account. 69kg is a LOT of luggage.

A personal luggage assistant will be one of the benefits of the next level up when its introduced :mrgreen:.

L3 Castlereagh St entrance. They were up and running by 9.45am and I was matched and ready to go 5 mins later.

My match came through today as well. I don't see me requalifying this year but if my role changes and my travel profile changes then I will certainly keep my options open. If I could maintain WP in both it would be a no brainer but next year's travel is more restricted than this year.

A key benefit for me is that I can decide now what to do with my Amex points rather than being locked into QF...

Mine also showed up this morning when I logged on.

Based on my flying patterns I should be able to keep WP in both. I'm keen to give VA a shot, especially on the MEL-SYD run.

My Platinum Match came through this morning to! Was in the process of applying for an Air New Zealand Status Match only last week when the VA offer came through.

I just scraped over the line this year to reach QF WP so don't see myself maintaining both. Once i earn enough QF SC's each year to maintain platinum I'll funnel any additional flying to Virgin, see what happens.

Hey be kind. Those toes were at 40,000 feet and drinking French Champagne in the F shower on a EK 388. How with the VA WP status match, it may be the last time those toes see water at 40,000 feet.

There is no other place other than France that Champagne can come from (sorry, a personal bugbear of mine!).

I have no issue with a Mastercard card - mastercard is the brand name. ATM and PIN are abbreviations. My other personal on this topic is the BAS Statement...
