Hey, I got an MA Platinum match from QF. Sure, just got a card in the post, but I got to give my old man a comp MA Gold. Which in turn got matched to DJ Gold, so I'll call it a win for MA.

"Print" it to a file (.pdf, a Document Image Writer or similar); then email that with your reply.

That's what was done for SWMBO.

I'm now at 4 weeks plus 8 days. I called Velocity on Wednesday last week and they said they have received the application and it should be processed by Friday. I'm starting to think the match to Platinum isn't meant to be.

I called again this morning and after the person I spoke to checked with the admin area my match to Platinum was processed. They were apologetic for the delay and said my kit should arrive in around 2 weeks. Apparently the response to the offer exceeded expectations so understandably things don't always go to plan.

Happy RG1 now.

The Europcar upgrade email arrived the other day, even though online it had registered last week. It was almost grudgingly they said something like "normally people have to book 20 days rental to receive the Executive level but you have been given automatic entry because of your Gold Velocity status."

I went into our booking to change it to get the discount rate - except it was now more than the original booking because when I booked the Aussie dollar was $1.08 USD. So I left everything at the original and cheaper booking.

Applied last Thursday received email statement yesterday quoting status and have just received a confirmation email - confirmed Platinum. Pack on the way - pretty efficient all round.

As a long time WP it's nice to see a statement that states that I have 4 free upgrades.
