Interested , gold at the moment. Have work and personal commitments to sort out around that time.

NZ restrictions are easing (for NZers). But NZ not yet on Singapore's VTL list, and the trans-Tasman schedule is not yet conducive to international transit. Still plenty of time to resolve these issues.

Still watching carefully, returning on JL via HND (1am Mon. flight from SIN) may or may not operate. I'm looking to lock in a refundable Plan B just in case.)

Hi Matt, hinking it’s time i started looking at flights. I just tried looking for the direct flight but can’t, only given via Sydney option. Is it the flight is full?
From what I looked at QF82 will/may be running and there are heaps of seats available.

Looking at your published status as a QF WP you can request seat release and the bot may say 'yes' given there are I buckets available. As the the SIN-MEL flight may be cancelled will a request be approved, who knows but worth a shot.

As for straight out rewards, no J seats on QF82 seats but at least 9 seats in Y

Yeah, @Matt_01 flights are very empty. The next day's QF36 has U available.

I've booked an economy award via QF82 as a back up plan should my J return via HND fall apart.

Thanks @Matt_01 trying to decide all rewards booking in case flights cancelled (don’t have money stuck with them) or I’m looking at using the travel pass from 2020 with the dsc to max credit earns which should then carryover to next year.

Can we then use points to pay for the balance of flight so if it get cancelled they will have to refund the points and I will loose the $100 travel pass? Assuming flights will go ahead course 😯.
