I wish I could have been there with you. I had been really looking forward to the 2020 lounge crawl which obviously didn't happen... maybe next year the stars will align for me!

I assume by your earlier post that the dedicated SATS F/J checkin lounge is closed? (as per the Changi website).

I checked at 1800 and it was still solidly AirAsia. Considering the QR flight is not until 0250 I wouldn’t expect anything before at east 2300 unless they use Jewel like QF and MH do.

I discussed that with @harvyk and considered LAX. But I think that will be a one off.

I am a bit nervous about HKG so that does narrow down the choices. Let me think on it for a few days.

I think in one of the other annual crawl threads from a few years ago there was some mention of LAX, it is a long trip and a loss of a day so it makes it hard for a long weekend. That being said I would not be adverse to the idea. For any potential location in Asia next year HKG or JP may be options and both have risks. From memory in 2019 NRT had a greater number of OW lounges (+ EK), IIRC 2019 was also when HND opened more slots, I will just wait to for your 2023 announcement and see what can be worked out.
