I know. I'm already thinking of 2 trips. Then again, I had a bad track record in 2020 and 2021 under the bubble in booking flights that ended up being cancelled.

I'm also booked on QF35 from MEL-SIN on the 10th if anyone is planning on getting to SIN that way.

I haven't planned anything apart from meeting at SIN. I will probably get in Friday arvo so open to suggestions for Saturday night.

My JL Business QFF award to OZ via HND went belly up this week, so rebooked on MH Business via KL (nice 'short' call, 55 minutes hold, 35 minutes fixing. )

Also have backup X class on QF.

I'm getting in midnightish Thu or Fri on SQ. Was considering going to KL Sat. night (cheaperaccom), but open to suggestions.

I have finally booked my SIN flights:

MUC-HEL-SIN on AY arriving Thur at 1800. Departing on AY132 on Sunday at 2150. (SIN-HEL-MUC-LHR-DUB!)

Currently booked MH to KUL 9:15pm (was JL to HND 1:50am Monday, but that was canned six weeks ago).

Flying up Friday or Saturday on SQ, Friday is waitlisted.

Apologies @JessicaTam and others as I am no longer attending as I've just had enough of the changes and cancellations and waiting-for-action-as-my-flight-is-no-longer-operating over the past several weeks from QF for both the SIN flights and connecting domestic on this itinerary. I just don't want any more changes that will cost me more $$$ or time off work after the last change a few days ago where I could accept online, or change or cancel by calling so I called and after 3 hours to get through I decided to cancel.

Just too hard with QF so far this year. Sorry. Now waiting for refund of points and taxes which on past performance I will get after the lounge crawl. Hopefully next year?!

Sorry @JessicaTam but my KL trip had to be extended due to more days needed to sort out official paperwork which I underestimated

Hopefully next year when things aren’t so difficult to reorganise flights. I’m not up to calling qantas to switch to earlier travel dates TBH after working out when I can travel

@serfty I’m in KL that weekend if you’re keen to get out of Singapore to catchup. But it’s still annoying that they need a pre-departure test at this stage of the rules.

Well it looks like my Sunday 9:15pm SIN-KUL flight will operate, but my 3:30pm arrival to SIN from KUL has been cancelled.

I am now arriving 5:30pm.
