Is this third year lucky?

However many attempts it is, it is time to look forward to getting back into some lounges 'just because'.

So here goes nothing.

Presenting the return to the skies SIN OW lounge crawl! In an effort to keep it simple, I am not planning a KUL component.

The only criteria is that you need to be booked on a OneWorld airline to get access to the lounges. A bonus is that if you book a QF flight you will get access to the EK lounge. If you have airline status all the better, but if you don't there are usually enough people with status to guest the extras.

Potential lounges – QF J, QF F, BA, QR, EK (if flying QF), and Priority Pass. But who knows what will be open then.

Booked QFF award on JL, SIN to HND departing 1:50am Monday 13th.

Flying up on some refugee KrisFlyer (nee Velocity) Points Thursday 9th.

Bit the bullet as classic award out was available and had a release request granted for the return. I wanted to go SIN-MEL but they said it was "full" on 12 June so I got it on SIN-SYD instead.

Looking forward to it!

Won't be there, hope ya'll have a great time. Worth noting that QR requires you (or at least did when they first opened at SIN) to be flying J or F to access their SIN lounge. Regardless of OW status.

Hopefully the QR lounge is open by then (QR have a flight currently scheduled for around 9pm).

Yes, I'm in U on JL and would use the 'before 6am next day' rule for entry. Of course, JL means no EK lounge for me (if it is open).
