Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

If I'm booked on the QF3877 SYD-AKL codeshare operated by LATAM, will I have any problems accessing SYD F and also guesting someone travelling on a purely QF marketed and operated flight?
As above.

General rule - if it’s a QF code, you’re good to go.

Not so much an “access” question v preference.

HNL departing QF104: QF or JL/AA?

I believe QF has had a modest refresh but still pokey?

I haven’t been to the JL lounge for years (like decades ago when it was then”classroom” and all chairs facing the same way to look out the windows). Pretty sure it wasn’t open in time last time I flew out of HNL.

I suggest trying both lounges? With JL/AA, I was there over a year ago, but there was still the classroom look with plenty of work benches in rows. Still there are some lounging areas and work benches with views. Believe it or not, QF may have better F&B ...

We tried to check out the QF HNL lounge mid last year as 2 x WPs + 1 x SG flying in J but were turned away as it was too full of QP members in Y. Hopefully you’ll have better luck! We just ended up hanging out in the terminal and plane spotting for a while

Yeah, it’s not very big and there’s a JQ flight out before QF.

With the Centurion Lounge in Haneda opening, access is only for those with the Platinum card, is that correct? Or can people use their single-use passes asw?

One world Emerald and QF Platinum flying QF business into Bangkok and then connecting on QF code share on El Al ( also business ) can I still access the one world lounges ?

No, only the QF F/J Lounges and where ever El Al direct their J PAX.

Don’t believe so - if you’re angling for QR J lounge?

Why? QF F Lounge would be much better - if it’s open.
Is there a QF lounge in Bangkok ?....didnt think so !!...Just looking for a better lounge than the Miracle.....thanks for the replies

The Miracle lounge we were last in at BKK whilst not being anything special was adequate for a couple of hours. Had plenty of seating and although the buffet wasn’t huge they did have a chef station that cooked up a number of set meals whilst you waited and they were actually pretty tasty. There was a small ice cream freezer and they were delicious. Several fridges full of soft drink, juices, beer and wine with a self serve spirits bar.
Couple of random pics from our last visit

As you're not flying Qantas, American Airlines or Jetstar, you will only have access to whatever lounge Emirates uses in Osaka.

Qantas Club membership only entitles you to access Qantas and American Airlines lounges (when flying oneworld) and Emirates lounges when flying Emirates.
Where can we clearly see this in writing as I've been refused access to qantas clubs when travelling with one world alliances and they tell me we must be on a QF coded flight as well, and even our excess luggage allowance is challenged with other airlines, even when in a QF coded flight. I don't fly often and find it very disappointing when I run into these issues and get no access or get charged $$$ for a few kg over their allowance yet well under the QC allowance. I despise the extra stress.
