Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

If I'm booked on the QF3877 SYD-AKL codeshare operated by LATAM, will I have any problems accessing SYD F and also guesting someone travelling on a purely QF marketed and operated flight?
As above.

General rule - if it’s a QF code, you’re good to go.

Not so much an “access” question v preference.

HNL departing QF104: QF or JL/AA?

I believe QF has had a modest refresh but still pokey?

I haven’t been to the JL lounge for years (like decades ago when it was then”classroom” and all chairs facing the same way to look out the windows). Pretty sure it wasn’t open in time last time I flew out of HNL.

I suggest trying both lounges? With JL/AA, I was there over a year ago, but there was still the classroom look with plenty of work benches in rows. Still there are some lounging areas and work benches with views. Believe it or not, QF may have better F&B ...

We tried to check out the QF HNL lounge mid last year as 2 x WPs + 1 x SG flying in J but were turned away as it was too full of QP members in Y. Hopefully you’ll have better luck! We just ended up hanging out in the terminal and plane spotting for a while
