Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

I will be flying HA LAX-HNL rtn on an AA award ticket in J.
From my reading of the Lounge Access rules I think I will get access to the HA Lounge at LAX but no lounge access on return journey ex-HNL.
Is this correct and if so any paid lounge access at HNL?
Cheers
PF

I am flying today 17 Oct in J, Sydney - London - Paris. I only have gold membership now. What are the lounge options? (any chance to get into the First Class lounge in Sydney?)

Unless someone guests you, otherwise the answer is no.

I am flying MCO to LAX in a couple of weeks as part of a VA booking SYD-BNE-LAX-MCO and return, premium econ. Both USA domestic legs were on DL planes, but when I called velocity today to ask about an upgrade on VA8 (not going to happen) I was told, in passing, that by the way there was a schedule change and my DL flight MCO-LAX was no longer available. I was offered a slightly earlier VX flight instead in "main cabin select", which is all fine, but brings me to my question:
As VA gold I could have used the Delta lounge at MCO, but VX have no lounge there. The new flight has a VX flight number. Is there any lounge at MCO that I can access? Thanks.

What is the most likely dates that QP will be closed over the Christmas/New Year period?
I am in PER and plan to use QP on Christmas Day, aye, what the... (???)...
If its close for what you colleagues term as Major Cleaning, it would be a pity in my case!
Any details appreciated.
Guess I could put a visit to the QP for my next trip, (after the Dec one).
Thanks.
EDIT: OR is it, just had a look online, it seems that only the Business Lounges are closed, where as they keep QP open.../?

"Arrival lounge" in SYD

Hi all,

I'll have a same day transit at SYD and would like to know the possibility of having lounge access during my transit.

- Inbound flight: BA in F
- Outbound flight: QF in F
- No status
- Transit time: 10 hrs
- Need to travel to the city

I'll be arriving in early morning and will visit the city. I hope I could visit the lounge for a light breakfast and a shower before leaving the airport. I understand there is no arrival lounge in SYD.

I would like to know:
- Do I need a domestic BP to enter airside in T3?
- Is it possible to visit QF domestic lounge there using my QF international BP?
- Is there any alternative for lounge access? I just want to take a shower.

Thanks for your help!

Re: "Arrival lounge" in SYD

You would be able to use the J domestic lounge; whether this is worth the schlep over to the DOM terminal or not is up to you.

I'm not sure about the Int F lounge. Theoretically yes you could go straight there from your flight since you're in transit, but once you have it may be difficult (although presumably not impossible) to then go land side again.

Re: "Arrival lounge" in SYD

If you already have your QF borading pass you should be able to enter on that I would think

So did you mean I would be able to enter DOM airside with my QF International boarding pass? Will the staff at security checkpoint allow me to enter? I'm not sure whether they will check boarding pass.

They did looked at my boarding pass last time, but it happened at fast track. Not sure whther they just checked my eligibility of using fast track or not.

Re: "Arrival lounge" in SYD

Yes, you can enter the domestic lounge with the international boarding pass.
You will go through security but as it is domestic there are no customs or immigration requirements.
The international terminal is separate from the domestic one so it will involve a little effort. If you decide to go you will need to catch a bus, train or taxi to get there. If you take your luggage with you into the domestic terminal it will be screened and they will take anything sharp off you etc
