Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Extremely limited via AM.
MH inventory has virtually no restrictions on dates or fare classes.

Apples and Oranges.

Gday

Yes the availability for MH partner award inventory is standard for all one world partners ie CX, QF, BA, whereas for Enrich there will generally always be a ticket for you. However it should be noted the costs are vastly different. The same seat SYD-KUL with MH on Asiamiles is 45,000 points, QFF is 65,000 points but with MH it is dynamic pricing (which is marketing spin for extortionate). I used to use Enrich and coped with the regular devaluations but the most recent one last year totally destroyed the program. Not just for me but everyone. The program is an utter disgrace now and not worth wasting 5 minutes investigating. The cheapest i saw a SYD- KUL seat for when i looked was ~160,000 points. Apples and oranges indeed!

Lowest I've seen is ~250K return with virtually no taxes.

Important to remember that while it may scale up to 350,000 - other airlines would likely have ZERO availability. I'm not defending MH, but looking at it purely from a "airline A is xx_ and airline B is yyyy" is not looking at the options holistically.

Two weeks ago I saw SYD-KUL-HKG-KUL-SYD in Y for 40,000 + $100 tax. I've never seen it so slow on ANY airline, EVER (except for with QFF over 14 years ago).

By all means keep focusing on other airlines with a closed mind. MH is the hidden GEM if you know where to look.

Two weeks ago I could purchase SYD-HKG-SYD for $529; there was a sale on (actually a HX/VA/QF/CX (and maybe MH) price war).

Since Enrich redemptions are now tied to fares; the earn / burn is uncompetitative, although the 'availability' is.

What booking classes do other *O airlines use when redeeming?

That's great if you burn points for Y. Based on the sale price of $529 you're getting around 1c per point at those rates....

how do i check how many points are needed?
