Good to see they haven't implemented their stated rules (yet again).

Update on the 2010 Lynch-Bages secret deal. Was very certain it was the 2011 turning up the other day when I clicked through on my order and it now showed 2011 not 2010. Sure enough, the '11 turned up. On the phone and organised a refund. Ah well. Still happy with the Lascombes and Palmer 2010.

They wouldn't let you swap the 2011 they sent for the 2010 they advertised?

Does anyone know where/how one might get vouchers for MyWineGuy?

$30 vouchers :)

They didn't have 2010 in stock (or so they said). I just checked online now and they do. Annoyed I didn't bother checking at the time. I don't think I can be bothered calling up and having that argument with them now.

Although not advertised, winesdirect have their 30% off any dozen or more code in operation. As per usual, promo code at checkout is CHOOSEWINE

Should officially start (and be advertised) around the 19th based on previous years. Amex 20% off deal finishes 18th which supports the theory.

HI all, picked this up from the OzBargain deal forum the MOCU shop is shutting down (apparently owned by Lion?). Anyways the offer is beer (though stocks are vanishing quickly) but they have a wine tab as well and everything is 50% off and delivery is free over 50$ to metro...most beer is gone (though i got a couple of 6packs) but I picked up a case of 6 Pinot from Oregon that looks good and at 50% off with delivery couldn't go wrong. They have about 5 pinots, 2 rose, a riesling and a merlot.

ps. Use MOCTWEL15 if it is your first order for 15$ off
pss. Can someone tell me the etiquette for 'cross-posting' this in to the Beer forum?

Better be quick only 4 choices left of 8 in the wine section.

Many thanks for the heads up, grabbed 2 cases of Panhead beer for a steal. I have no idea of US wines, but looks to be some good deals that won't last long.

Dear Friends,

It's a Summer Scorcher...and days like these remind us to stock up on the perfect Summer wine…and fast!

Here's an exquisite WA Chardonnay to wet your whistle with 96 points, and
three years of cellaring done for you...all for UNDER $25!

Make hay my friends, with…Secret Wine # 110

"Night-harvested, crushed and whole bunch-pressed to tank, cultured yeast fermentation (no mlf) completed in French oak (50% new), matured for 10 months with lees stirring. An intense, tightly structured chardonnay with white peach and grapefruit flavours braced by punchy acidity. A wine of restrained power."
96 Points James Halliday

It is an extraordinary piece of country at the eastern end of the Porongurup Range National Park in Western Australia which has been described by one of Australia's favourite Wine Gods as...
"a mighty mouse of a vineyard".

If you're new to the crew, let me explain how my
Secret Wine Series work (and why you'll learn to get in quick!).

The wine's identity won't be revealed until it arrives safely on your doorstep. You are assured that any wine offered as part of my
Secret Wine Series always scores very highly (from the country's most well respected wine critics), and speaking of scores...today's
is out of the park! A whopping 96 points...offered at HALF PRICE!

The Secret Wine Series are presented anonymously to protect the hard work the winery has endured building their premium brand. Offers like this need to be discreet, or they simply pull the plug. You're privy to the best secret in town my friends, and you won't find this 'mighty mouse' cheaper…anywhere!

Here we go...

* 2016 Western Australian Chardonnay
* 96 POINTS by James Halliday
* Flagship Chardonnay of the estate
* 5 STAR Halliday Winery
* From the tightly guarded Great Southern Region
* The best of the premium fruit from the single site vineyards
* Hand picked, cold whole-bunch pressed straight to French oak
* Mendoza and 95 Clones (...if you're a wine nerd)
* Dry grown, single vineyard
* Beautiful food wine
* While delicious now, will age for another 10 years (if you can wait)
* Fully labelled
* Stelvin closure

Pairing beautifully with food, this 2016 Chardonnay's perfect to enjoy now...but being sold at the price of a quaffer, you can afford to stash some extra bottles in the cellar, making this Christmas
(and the ones to follow) even more delicious!

First in, first served!

Good luck!

The offer:

Secret Wine # 110 @ $24.72
Compare $50

seems to be
Willoughby Park Ironrock Chardonnay 2016

Clos Clare The Hayes Boy Grenache 2016 $24.21 @ AusCellardoor after 10% off
(JH97, Runner-Up Halliday Grenache Challenge)

Picked up the MacRostie Wildcat Mountain Pinot Noir. Came down to $165 from $360, shipping included. Has a 4.4 rating on Vivino so pretty keen to try it.

I'm interested in this and the Argyle Nuthouse Pinot Noir 2013, but just don't have the space for a whole case - if anyone in Melbourne is buying and might spare a bottle, then let me know :)
