Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Agreed - was worried I'd be buying the white label but the tasting notes and all details match the yellow from Petaluma's site. Given it's 59.95 at Dans in any six and even $285 or so on Cellar One at family/friends prices, 130 for the 6 seems like an incredible price, so I'm glad i chanced it. Fingers crossed!

Anyone hear anything yet about their Petaluma Coonawarra ebay purchases? Gray has no removed all Petaluma wines from ebay and grays auctions

Different Drop - museum releases at current vintage prices :)

- 2010 Blue Poles Allouran $28

qaz - Some nice ratings out there. Have you tried it? Looks like a solid choice if you want a Barolo in the cellar?

No I haven't had it, but yes certainly seems worthwhile - others like [post=1497687]TheRealTMA[/post] are probably better versed than I on such matters :)

No 2016 reviews, only up to 2015.

So the website doesn't have any of the reviews found inside the latest magazine issue? :(

Are these quaffers well priced? Thanks

Some good wines there, would recommend the Mike Press as exceptional value even at its normal price, and I also couldn't resist that offer on Woods Crampton. There are a few other Woods Crampton wines on Winery Lane you may want to investigate but hard to go wrong IMO. With this discount this is exceptional value.

Great website, which I'd forgotten about!

Also, Lethbridge Pinot Gris for $19.67.

I was very tempted but held out due to trying to make it one month without any purchases... seemed like a great deal if the storage has been good. Am assuming they're direct from the winery?

For those of us with extravagant taste and deep pockets - Dan's has the 2012 Henschke Hill of Grace at $790 a bottle (online only) for pre-order.

I'm surprised at the price - I thought that HOG was supposed to be a cheaper (and better) alternative to Grange but it's starting to exceed even Grange prices. Last time I bought some I only paid around $240 a bottle (for the 1997 vintage).

HoG has has a higher RRP than Grange since at least the 2004 vintage.

I had a dozen Hill Of Grace 1990 but they are all gone now. $950 a bottle compared with $250 a few years ago.
