Crack the Case

Have hit a small snag in my quest for Crack the Case.

My 10th and final night was credited manually and Crack the Case does not recognise the manual intervention.

Have logged a case with Priority Club and eagerly awaiting the appearance of 94,000 bonus PC points for completing Crack the Case.

Looks like I will be in DRW for OzFest and also staying in London at an Indigo and HIX at the same time ;), now to work out how to do that so the real stay does not become an overlap and not get the double points.

I have an overlap in my stay history. Yet to work out whether it will credit as two separate hotels (for the promo) or only one.

Overlaps count for CTC, I had two rooms in Surfers the same Saturday night I was at the wake in Melbourne, all three counted towards my Saturdays and total nights. My concern for overlpas is the double points not posting for the primary stay, which could be a significant haul!

Did anyone else get this offer?

Time is almost out, but you're too close to quit. Imagine what you could do with 105,600 bonus points! Now is the time to blow this case wide open. You've got one month and each Saturday night stay in May will get you credit for two nights towards busting the final latch.*

Wish I had known earlier....

I hope to 'crack' my case with the 10th Stay tomorrow night.

With this bonus and others, by the end of the month I should have over 200K PC points. That's 40000 QFF points or 40000 AA miles or ...

I'm getting closer and closer to my target.

Assuming all goes well (none of my recent stays have posted to CTC yet), I am now up to 15 or 16 hotels out of my 18. That leaves two or three to complete before the end of May.

Am thinking a quick trip to SYD/MEL/Gold Coast is in order ... Need to add some IC nights to my totals (now an Ambassador member, so should use that) - so the options are pretty good.

My CTC is now in jepoardy, with news that my HIEx stay may not be happening :( and I won't be anywhere near anything. Might have to go to Plan B.

I haven't got the email that JohnK has shared, anyone else get it? That would help me on both fronts, as my Sat stays are on the weekend.

Between now and the end of May I'm in Berlin, Basel, Cork, Kerry. Not sure if any of them have cheapish HIX's though! Cheapest in Central LON looks to be in Swiss Cottage, but it's still not "cheap"!

Between now and end of May i'm in Beijing and northern China. Some very cheap HIx'es in this general area. PM me if i can be useful.

777.

I have three hotels left I think (thought it might have been two, but thinking three is the correct number).

So thinking about wandering down the Gold Coast and staying at Crowne Plaza, Crowne Plaza Gold and Holiday Inn - all the same night (perhaps or perhaps stringing them over 2 nights).

Can anyone think of any better place to do it?

Not a bad idea, make it a Sunday night on F&F rate and its $96 per room.

Can anyone confirm whether Priority Priliege rates qualify for CtC (particularly interested for those that have used and whether they have posted)? I'm presuming from markis10's response above that they do, but absolutely need these 2 nights to count and one is my IC night.

So with my current bookings:

Code:
Date Property Nights Stay Sat 5 Brands
Current 2 0 2
28 April CP Perth 3 0 2 (waiting to post)
7 May CP Adelaide (2 rooms) 5 2 (CC) 2 (waiting to post)
11 May HI Ex Wimbledon Sth 6 3
15 May IC Burswood 7 4
16 May HI Burswood 8 4
29 May Indigo Paddington UK 9 5 (CC)
31 May CP London Heathrow 10 (CC)

I hope to have another stay in SYD this week or next week to make sure of the 10 nights

My experience has been that PP rates have counted.

Sounds like Voda has issues with SMS ! PP stays count, any paid stay counts so its not an issue, if they did not count then I would have a long way to go to hit CTC :D.
