Crack the Case

Still no news of my case for Priority Club to honour my 10th and final stay for Crack the Case. I guess they are hesitant in paying out ~95,000 PC points.

I really cannot understand why I have to continually chase up loyalty programs to receive what is rightfully mine....

Oops, I seem to have made a mistake. I somehow ended up with three different hotel stays on the Gold Coast one night towards the end of the month.

;)

Two are prepaid, one is a 25% off rate. Average cost around $125 each.

The nights (when posted) will finalise my challenge. The ~150K points I get for finishing the challenge (to me at least) is worth more than $375, and I should get a heap of points for the three stays.

-- Edit, changed one of the rates to be for the night before. Adds $13/stay average, but will make things a little easier (having three different hotel check-ins for one night is a little hard to manage/wasteful ;) )

2 Saturday night rooms in ADL are showing on PC account, so now have to wait for CtC to catch up.

I am a single night¹ away from an additional 131K PC points.

The web site is currently showing I have still to "opt in for emails", but I have already received the 10K bonus point for that. ...

¹ Out of 10 needed
Done the night ... changed my bigpond.com address to bigpond.com.au and 4 latches are now showing as unlocked:

The night has now posted on PC.com, awaiting the CTC revelation. :D

). I can wait a week markis10.

That's a rather quick trip abroad :D :p Almost as crazy as my 3.5 day trip to Aus! :)

STILL WAITING - sort of?

A transaction for unlocking my last latch has appeared on my PC account:
Code:
[B] 17 May 2011 CRACK THE CASE-NIGHTS 5600 pts.[/B]

  16 Dec 2010 CRACK THE CASE-BRANDS 4400 pts.

  16 Dec 2010 CRACK THE CASE-WEEKENDS 3300 pts.

   5 Oct 2010 CRACK THE CASE-OPT-IN BONUS 10000 pts.

   5 Oct 2010 CRACK THE CASE-SURVEY BONUS 1000 pts.
But that's it.

No acknowledgement on www.priorityclub.com/crackthecase.

Nor have the bonus points yet appeared.

It's still showing that I have not yet completed the required nights.

Hmmm. Crack the Case is still showing incomplete for me even though I completed the 10 nights over 5 weeks ago. :(

No. According to Priority Club I have only stayed 9/10 nights.

I have lost count of the number of times I have contacted them. I sent them an email recently and received a response last Friday (5 days ago) that it was going to be fixed within 48 hours. I noticed a new entry for my last stay but nothing has been fixed.

I don't believe they know how to fix it. Sent another email.

Hmmm, points showing on PC.com;
Code:
Date Activity Description Earnings Total Points
17 May 2011 CRACK THE CASE-WEEKENDS 3300 pts. [B]3300 pts.[/B]
but no action at CtC for my missing 5 nights, 2 Saturdays (which unlock my 2nd case) and 1 additional brand. Sure, I don't expect my 2 nights in Perth this week to post yet on CtC (as they haven't on PC.com yet either).

But I know what is the true state of play. Just hurry up your processing PC. A bit poor IMHO

Finally! Welcome to Platinum Elite status.

17 May 2011 CRACK THE CASE-NIGHTS 5600 pts.[B] 5600 pts.[/B]

Hmmm. Now have over 250,000 PC points....

Good Stuff ...

Aside from Hotel stays, those point can be converted to up to 50,000 Airline points/miles on QF, SQ, AA, CX, BA ... (full list)

Now my email registration latch has closed, but the the stay latch is unlocked!

I have changed the email address and now have to "wait 48".

All I have to say is show me the money, with the last latch yet to deposit its points or the bonus into my account:

I also had to stay at 5 brands and as that was not practical I simple did not try and this actually caused me to divert stays away from the IC group :!:

The Airlines points/miles are a good fallback option although it is shame that BMI is not a partner.
