Hi all
Just a quick question which I think I know the answer to but don’t want to believe, so wanted to confirm with the experts here.
Was due to fly Mel – Syd for work but because of the fog yesterday, flight was delayed a few times and in the end, we weren’t going to make our meeting on time so the colleagues decided to cancel and just go back to the office.
I upgraded my return flight from Flex economy to business using 5000 points. When we were at the Sales Desk at the airport to process the refund, the lady said I would get the points back. Looking at this though Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions | Qantas, does this mean I can say bye-bye to my points? I assume she meant I’ll get the points back less the standard processing fee which is 5000 points, so nothing in this case? My first ever successful upgrade turns out to be not so successful after all…
