Citi cards become myCard - no more CX, KF, EY, QR from 16/11/25

been following the my card change closely as i have owned this card for 10+? years "fee free for life" and i assume the complete change to NAB and now MyCard will give them the 'out' they require to start charging an annual fee.
This change to KF miles sucks, only reason i got this card + fee free and it's been my main card this entire time. Will be taking all my points across to KF ASAP and fingers crossed there is still some value in it after the mycard changes happen.

I'll have to make a call tomorrow to Citi, just to cover some basic questions like will Avios still be a partner to transfer to.
Will I still receive my 2nd year bonus sign up Citi points.
And a general question where can I find exactly the changes that affect my prestige card, simple.
Really where does "My Card" name cover from anyway, sounds a bit ordinary n boring, nothing to do with NAB the brand?
Hi MooTime, how did you go with your call? Do you get the resigning points? Anything else you learned? Thanks in advance!

So which card is everyone moving to as their primary VISA/MasterCard that can somehow transfer to international airlines?
At this point, we are likely to be better off with a solid qf offering vs sub par options that let us transfer to other airlines (for non Amex). Personally I’m going to go for a Bankwest card that has fee free overseas transactions to compliment my platinum charge that lets me transfer to other airlines.

Another data point:
Received an email from SQ yesterday with the subject:
"Boost your KrisFlyer miles with Amex - plus discover new partners and more !"

And at the bottom was the caption:

"Last Chance to transfer with Citi
Citi Rewards points can only be transferred to your KF account until 16 November 2025.
Don't miss your final chance to boost your KF miles before this partnership ends and enjoy more rewarding journeys."

NAB really ought to publish a complete notice about the changes in their entirety.
The already published (incomplete) notice of changes says refer to the website for full list airline partners (or words to that effect) when you log in. That information isn't there.
16 November is only 3 weeks away.
16 November is now 5 days away.
Yesterday I received an email from Citi saying the migration to myCard is happening on 24 November, but nothing about the benefits.
Somewhere buried in the documents published, Citi (NAB) says that they will communicate information in one or all of three ways: regular snail mail, email and on their website. I take that to mean that there will no more communication about benefits changes and it's up to us to look through every single email, every letter and and every word on the website(s) to work out how we are affected. Of course the mycard website which they tell us to refer to for information is still not updated.

So with that in mind I have cancelled my Citi prestige.
It took several half hour sessions, and they finally agreed to pro rata refund my annual fee which was charged 23 September, even though I pressed very strongly (escalated) for a full refund of the annual fee.
Of course they did everything to claw back every single cent they could but at the end of the day I just wanted out....
When I look back now I am amazed at the whittling away of the Prestige benefits. It's not even a shadow of what it was 10 years ago.
I recall reading somewhere that Citi is handling the transition for NAB.
I get the feeling that maybe Citi is under instructions from NAB to not concede anything and to just screw every cardholder over.

Sayonara and good riddance.

With the lack of information on what becomes of Citi points with the transition to MyCard, there's no option now but to transfer out before the Nov 16 deadline. Is it even confirmed that MyCard will have a spend-based rewards program?

edit: The consensus seems to be that any rewards program is going to be limited and not worth sticking around for.

I've transferred all of my points out today. Now to find another card and migrate before end of month when my next yearly annual fee kicks in.

I could be wrong but in my reading late last night I got the impression that Luxury Escapes and Priority Pass would continue - but it will be interesting to see the detail if that's correct. We are travelling a lot and the Citi deal with Luxury Escapes more than paid for itself on the Luxury Escapes alone.

I also got the impression that NAB might sweeten the deal by retaining the insurance that was going to be dropped, bringing it in line with its other cards.

Having said that, the lack of clear info is woeful. No idea if the promised bonus points will be available for year two sign up, etc etc.

You are correct about Luxury Escapes 4th night free, and Priority Pass continuing. This detail can be found here. Look under the 'Credit Card' tab, you'll find the Citi Prestige rewards from 24 Nov onwards in this doc.

So:
- 4th Night on Us
- Uber Premier $100 Cashback
- Priority Pass (15 accesses)

Nothing mentioned anywhere about which frequent flyer reward programs will continue though.

In my mind, Citi cards have always been great cards to churn but not great cards to keep. Last year I took out a Citi Premier card for the 220,000 point sign up bonus (which I converted to KrisFlyer). The two free airport meals were a nice touch but once I'd used them both and received the bonus points, I cancelled.

This year I signed up for a Citi Premier three days before they stopped accepting new applications. I'll meet the spending criteria, eat the meals, receive the guaranteed points, and ditch. This year I'll have no choice but to transfer the points to Velocity, which is a minor annoyance but no biggie.
