Is this means bonus night from this new Accorplus not stackable with other membership (eg. All+ China)?

Correct - combined total capped at 30 nights going forwards, so no more cheap platinum from this method.

I had mine in Malaysia and paid ~$427 per year with 2x free nights (although these didn't have the limitation). That now drops to ~$345 and also includes 2x free nights (but have to pay for one extra night). Dining was often just me or 3/4 people so not a major loss there and the discounts on drinks and global rates should make up the difference so overall I'm quite pleased.

Now the really interesting thing is unused stay plus certificates multiply on 1 October.

I've got one booking at the Fairmont in Singapore ($415 value as thats the cheapest room rate) and one at the Sofitel Fiji ($370 value) so for my $427 I've got $785 worth of rooms but the gamble is cancelling just prior to 1 October and then rebooking to pick up an extra stay plus. Unless I figure out if you can cancel after 1 October and it still splits into two.

You can, but keep in mind you’re not able to combine BOGOF nights in the one booking or stay, which I understand includes checking out and back in on the same day for a successive booking. You may get away with that in places though

If you renew prior to 30th September you should be assessed under the current arrangements, they don't state otherwise and I would be very surprised if they attempted to claw back a few months of status - What is certain is if you renew after 30th September you will miss out as it will be calendar year aligned to ALL.

I have done some tallying.

Fortunately for me, I'll have 30 BiB status nights by the end of September, so it seems best to renew in October. From what I can make out, this will give me Platinum status until at least the end 2026.

No - nothing I’ve seen on that; it’s the bonus nights stacking that they are cracking down on here I think

I haven’t seen that mentioned at all yet but I suspect they may tweak that at some stage depending on numbers. For now though I think they let it go

So, in regard to the status updates indicated retaining will change; to clarify my understanding.

Previously - I enrolled in Accor Plus September 2024 and received a 20 night credit. This combined with a further 40 or more nights previously credited in 2024 to earn Platinum. My understanding was that if I renewed Accor Plus before end of September this year I would maintain Platinum until at least September 2026, if insufficient nights in 2025.

Until October 1st, that is still the case.

I'm not sure that's right as Accor status is determined by calendar year.

My understanding of the status is that post 1 October 2025, status in 2026 will solely be determined by what is achieved in 2025. At least this is what Schedule 1 to the new T&Cs suggests (there's nothing suggesting people who achieved status in 2024 automatically maintain it, unlike the existing T&Cs at clause 2.6(d)).

My email suggested that I'd get platinum again in 2026. I suspect this is based on the 10 2025 nights I already have, 20 nights from a pre-30 September renewal and 30 nights being credited on 1 October. I'd therefore get the 60 nights that way, rather than relying on my 60 status nights from 2024 (30 from Qantas, 20 from A+ and 10 from, well, staying in hotels).

Hence, I did my renewal earlier today.

EDIT - this also means that the trick of renewing Accor Plus in December to pick up status from the prior year if you got 60 nights the previous year but not the current year won't work going forward.

Be interesting to see if they now allow membership for those with other paid subscriptions, was meant to happen last year.

I'm a little confused as to what this means for me. I current have an Accor Plus subscription (through Amex) which expires in a couple of months' time and an ALL Signature subscription which expires early next year. I'm currently Platinum.
Will I still be able to have both paid subscriptions or this something that we just don't know yet?
Will my status in 2026 be based on all of 2025 or just on the stays after my membership renews?
If I make it up to Diamond by the end of the year, will that carry over to 2026? (I'll need to know whether it's worth pursuing with the current changes.)

I used to know how this worked, now I'm a little unsure.

Why do you mean by complimentary status points? Do you mean via Signature? (no changes here). Accor Plus never offered complimentary status points.
