10,000 Woolworths rewards points for a travel insurance policy.

I recorded a piddly 5000 EDR points.
I vaguely remember a 2nd insurance offer that offered less, 5k instead of the 10k.

It'll get me well nothing.

I might leave it....still way ahead esp after the win mention in post #: 168

They are playing hardball! I don't like your chances but good luck. I'm still owed 4x 10K EDR points over 4 accounts but long gave up..
I was missing 10K Wow pts for each of 4 accounts...this has now been rectified more than 2 years later :)

Thanks to the AFFers who took it further and complained to the appropriate authority!

Same here. I am wracking my brains trying to think if I've been paid out what I'm owed or if I've scored a bonus?
Me also, so I scrolled through the activities in the ER app back to Jan 2024 (when I bought the policies) and the points hadn’t been rewarded before. I’m very surprised I hadn’t noticed this, I usually keep a close eye on these things.

Same. I went back through my EDR account and couldn't see them.

Also checked the account activity list and did not see 10k points posted after the first trip in Feb 2024 BUT on the original email confirmation I had make a note that points were awarded incl the date received.

Looks like someone thought it best if woolies come good on their promises before the ACCC take a microscope to their ops
Looks like the ACCC are already looking at Woolies...

Court documents published on the eve of a landmark trial between the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the supermarket giant show that of 276 products, 265 had been sold under the “Prices Dropped” program for amounts that were higher than they had been for a previous 180-day period.

Them, and Coles for the equivalent 'Down, Down' promotion

No one wonder Wow quickly paid out the points on the travel insurance policies. They are facing a huge fine from the ACCC for false / misleading advertising!

That was why I posted, they had a few skeletons in the closet …..

What did the terms say about the timeframe in which the bonus points were to be paid? 2 years late warrant some form of compensation? 😂

I received 3 x 10k points which, going by my posts in this thread, means that points for all 11 policies have now been awarded.

I can't confirm how many policies were paid out as QF doesn't go back that far and, oddly, only Woolies and Big W transactions appear in my EDR activity in Feb/Mar 2024. There were BWS and fuel purchases made then too but not showing now for some reason.
