LHR T3 lounge crawl Saturday 6 June 2026

I might be able to do a pre lounge crawl. My transit time (on separate tickets) from QF1 (tomorrow) to LUX is 7 hours. However if QF1 arrives early could potentially try to get on the earlier LUX flight

If you do a pre lounge crawl, that will spoil the surprise! 🤣

I am nearly in EU. Just waiting for my CMN-LIS flight.

I went through CDG this morning and annoying they weren't using it so I couldn't get the registration done, AS passports used egate with no human interaction at all. So maybe upon departure tomorrow to Seville I get to go through it?

I find myself responding to this thread even though I cannot attend, please take the following with the humour intended. In 2024 when first discussed in HKG I was all in, what was planned as a simple visit, do a lounge crawl and come home somehow morphed into a family trip, 4-5 weeks. Over the past 2 years, well at least the past 12 months to be accurate, I have spent more points and cash changing things based on the whims of Mrs&MissN's evolving plans. In the end MrsN said we are not going, it has become the most expensive lounge crawl I never attended.

Take the following in jest, raise a glass to an absent friend. My only saving grace and thought pattern is I am not having to drop a significant amount of Euro or Stirling per day, instead I am knocking up spaghetti and sauce at home with MissN's dog getting under my feet.

Hopefully I can make 2027, where ever that may be.

Here's suggesting BKK be the next lounge run destination.

QR/CX/JL/WY options available.

Of course must time for JL departure times for access

For any OWE transiting T5, I.e. not on “crawl day” it is usually quicker to leave T5 through immigration and then head to the First wing to go through security.

As you exit customs head to the set of elevators at the far left. That will get you up close-ish to the first wing. Security there is quite quick and you end up in Galleries First lounge. This only works for T5 to T5 connections.

If you have to get from T5 to T3 forget I said anything!

Can someone please give me an approximate time for the QF lounge as I will arrange for us to have a table. of 16.
Here are my thoughts ... consideration is based on other peoples anecdotes and my own research.

To maximize the chances of CX entry not being denied, the best time would be soon after their 12:20pm flight to HKG departs. It is 4½ hours before their next. Maybe people head here as they arrive and meet up?

Possible go to AA after CX some Moët (or maybe Bollinger?) on entry and a short à la carte menu. There's a recent FLounge review here:

The AA lounge winds down after 5 pm - there is one flight soon after 6pm.

Qantas is quiet in the afternoon before ramping up for QF2 boarding after 8pm, so maybe 5pm after AA/CX?

BA after QF?

These are just my suggestions; I'm sure some will be looking at Amex or PP lounges but they are not on my radar.

Consensus will likely firm up in the next few days.
