Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

Meanwhile........ may be behind a p.w. :(

As apparent christians I don't think they'll get any love from St. Anthony (patron saint of animals). And today here in Ephesus someone was explaining how well the street cats were looked after, donations pay for their vaccinations et c. And then the old American tourist said why not euthanize and save money. Money, some people have lost the plot.

Now taking a deep breath. Turkey today. Here's a cat in a temple, I'm sure it's thinking that people are worshiping it (Library of Celsus, Ephesus,in the background)IMG_20260517_105731143_HDR.jpg

Remember that cats were worshipped as Gods in ancient Egypt, AND HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN THAT!

Last one I promise. Cat santury in Rome today, he's just been let out (they're locked up at night). Lucky to get a shot as he wouldn't stop running around. Viva! Ears back makes him look angry but he was just determined to not stop running. Maybe he was aware that a while ago Caesar got stabbed in the curia behind (Curia de Pompeyo). Lovely work the charity does here.

Remember it well, especially for all the ears!

Bean, the cat I wrote about in an earlier post has made it to Hobart and seems to have settled in quite well, so glad we played a small part.

Not good news on the Bean front, he has been back to the emergency vet with quite possibly renal failure and pancreatitis. Really hope he pulls through. :(

So here are some shots of Max to cheer me up.

Not sure if you've seen this about Cat Daddy on UToob but great song, great well known cat from Coolie.
His subordinate is an animal trainer.
