A quasi F enhancement, never had that before.........

Is this EK pushing them along?

Yes and having spoken to some one senior in customer service their is lots of other good things to come too

this astounds me. Why on earth would QF need another airline to tell them how to improve their services? If Qf can't work that out for themselves they don't deserve to be in business :(

I did laugh a while back when I read some glossy/glowing blog about how Alan Joyce made the QF/EK deal happen.

It mentioned that he flew on an Emirates plane for the first time when he went to talk to EK about the deal (Singapore from memory)

Says it all really!

In current A380 F they are kept in the locker under staircase, but these are quiet large as t hey are sheepskin, The new J ones will not be as substantial as those. There are a number of places to store it all in front galley in front of row 11, hopefully they will get rid of the ghastly grey PJ's. Nothing worse then seeing those appear in the Y cabin from people who have bought them on eBay.

Noice

How the hell would you know what people wear in the Y cabin? Surely someone as valuable as you wouldn't be flying in a Y cabin, with your PWP and your PPS. Tell us exactly how much experience do you have of economy, since this must an opinion based on your experience.

Personally, when flying in Y I like to get my J PJ's, sorry not purchased on ebay but saved from flying in the J cabin, and pull them up noice and high so as to have a noice hungry backside look and a male pattern camel toe. I usually then take a wander through the J cabin and do some toe touches in front of all the PWP passenger. They seem to like it judging by the reaction.

I can't sleep on a MK1 Skybed without Velcro undies, MKII no need for them. No droop here, all the males must have big heavy feet ;)
I can quite easily sleep on a Skybed MkI, just as easily as on a mk II. They are a perfect fit for me. :D

I guess they were designed for 182cm PAX like me. My feet rest comfortably against the foot rest end.

I have a colleague who has flown EK F every few weeks for the last few years and is not I/O

I'll ask this for those QF'ers in the know, If someone was to fly paid F to LHR from Aus every 3 weeks for 3 years would QF give you CL? Assuming that you were a nobody in the corporate world?

There is at least one CL member who would travel less than that who was granted CL.

I would suggest such travel would quite likely have one being considered for CL. However, every case would be different and assessed with factors such as who/what pays for the travel, what additional income a prospective recipient might generate for QF, etc.

Yes!! It's called "An unusual and debilitating case of Camel Toe" :p

This is why I am complaing about being silenced, because 5 times my posts have been removed for critising the difference between this post and mine refering to a medical product that is feely advertised.

Thanks Serfty, an interesting hypothetical. Whilst its probably worthy of a different thread, I wonder what all the variables that are used in making a I/O and CL entry decision are?
Not that I am in any way shape or form even close to being considered for either :) l'll just stick to J jimjams in my Y cabin.

Errr, allow me to beg to speculate differently. I/O stands for "Invite Only"; I believe the more accurate alignment with QF would be CL (also an "invite only" tier).

They also mention new amenity kits by the Spades. Reading that they are going to be pouches (and a slim one for the ladies), I'm not entirely sure what to expect in the good sense. Hopefully it's still going to be functional. (Keep in mind that pouches don't necessarily have to be fully enclosed or having "binders" like buttons, zips, latches or the like, so it could be just a cheap fold over....)

im a big fan of Jack Spade gear... Always very functional and very tough. If anyone is going to design something that can be used again, it'd be JS. Unless he's just taking the money and running, selling his name and nothing else. Would be disappointing but not surprising.

Im pretty sure that the amenities themselves aren't changing, just the pouch. Hopefully, the changeover is in time for our family's Xmas trip... daughters LOVE Kate Spade. It's the little things that can make a difference sometimes.

Your posts however were directed to a member directly, whereas the other posts were made in general, or at themselves. Big difference.

I'm sorry but as a woman, I find this term extremely offensive

That you may, as you are entitled to, however the comment was not directed to you, rather the OP made it to herself.

Just as many found your term trolley dolly offensive. Or referring to anyone not P1 as the great unwashed...

If they could finally get rid of SkySlope, that would be even better. All the duvets in the world won't help you sleep on that thing.

In fact a mattress on these would mean you slide to the bottom just that more quickly :)

I believe they are the new Mark Newson inspired Teflon mattress.

Looks like I have come late to the argy-bargy. I have some pills that may be helpful; they are in the bottle marked "chill".
