A Mastercard that offers 1.25 points per $1 ..... v noice.
) anyway I called up to enquire how much it would be to change to QFF Earning and they told me $120 per year! I nearly fell over!
Can anyone tell me what it should be so I can go back to them?
I hold a Citi Platinum Card and Amex Platinum Charge Card.
Question for you all - does this new offer make it much better to cancel the QF transfer (which costs $49 p.a.) and start earning Citi Rewards points to transfer to KF or Asia miles? Previously for every $1 spent, you received effectively 0.752 KF/Asia miles. But now, with the 1.25 reward points per $1 domestic spend, you receive 0.94 KF/Asia miles. Is my logic right? If so, and if wanting Asia miles, the Citi Visa is now better than the Amex Platinum?
Also, with this awesome international 3 points per $1 spend, I should definitely be using the Citi card overseas? Woooo! Unless I'm reading things wrong...
I do not think that the Citi Platinum CC allows you to transfer to Asia Miles?
Yes, Asia Miles is listed as an option.
Isn't the standard reward rate $1 for 1 point rather than $1 for 1.25 or better?
Have I missed something in the mail?
How did some of you get fee free for life on this card?
My latest Citibusiness Gold statement came with a covering letter saying that the points earn cap is being raised from 1 September from 80,000 to 250,000 points per annum.
I have free for life Gold and has not received any email/letters from Citibank. I was not offered free upgrade to Platinum earlier.:evil:
