Just wow. Love the Faberge Museum pix! I liked Picasso's early works but his later ones, not so much.

The last of the Impressionists.I really loved this place and the number of works here is mind blowing.This has been a very small part of the display-

So off to our next stop.People stripping off to sunbathe or lining up for flights in an old Soviet chopper-

Now it's off to the prison.A beautiful place but the scene of much atrocity.Turned into a solitary confinement by Peter the Great.First prisoner was his son who got into a fight with guards and was killed.Lenin's older brother was executed here.
