Rec'd my 35000 points yesterday, have not even rec'd my first statement yet. Also getting the 5000 bonus points in March. My 32000 points with ANZ took 4 months to come thru.

Did you apply or was it a product swap. Mine was a product swap and consequently unbeknownst to moi did not attract the 35k points!!

I have called this deceptive and have complained. First response due back next week. Further action due if they don't cough up.

New customer, so I should be ok (I hope).

this was a new card, new account.
But product swap is not considered a new card.

Sure you get a new number and different coloured card, but its not a new card application, so bonus points offer wouldn't apply. All banks are the same with this respects - as I just found out with cba when I upgraded my card and lost my 0% interest offer on my old card

Don't use the Visa so I don't care. BankWest Platinum MC and WOW MC cover that.

not disclosed over the phone at the time. No paperwork just verbals.

my intentions were clear and recorded.

Tried to get NAB to consider options for potentially losing $4m in card traffic per annum.

best they could offer (was my idea, as they had none) was split my c/c limit charge me two annual fees and let me go through all the wasted time of applying for a new card that they would then transfer my split limit to

Bye Bye NAB, off to Westpac earth card

There's been some trouble lately with Westpac earth cards too... Bonus QF spend points are not calculating or posting. Have a look through the Westpac threads to get the details. Hopefully that will be sorted out though, and it will come back to normal smooth running...

That's piss poor. I can't believe they're prepared to give it up so easy

So you even rejected your own idea after they agreed to it ??????????

too much accounting and time wasted on applying for something I already had!

I think I will lodge a complaint with the ACCC.
This card still on the NAB website more than 2 weeks after most of us received letters regarding changes to the points earn.

NAB Qantas Platinum Card - NAB

Fee still listed as $290 per annum. Have they reduced the earn for some of us based on points earned or is the card truly changing?

Better off complaining to the FSA. The response will be quicker, more specific and will probably hurt NAB more for being dick heads. Just another reason I have jumped from NAB to CBA!

Is this business spend?

If its personal spend then I'm sure Nab Private would be keen to speak to you...

They won't be too fussed about losing business spend on a personal card - most banks don't like this and that's why ATO payments are being frowned upon

Seeing as the visa rewards are now being reduced, what card do you guys suggest to change to in order to get max points for visa/mastercard?

Or if you prefer Velocity (and you have a spouse or significant other travelling companion), the Virgin Money Flyer card is also hard to beat with a buck per point up to $1500/month, and 4 buy 1 get 1 free flights. I use this in combination with an AMEX.

If you spend heaps on Visa - go the High Flyer which gives you 1.25 vel points per buck and no capping.
