Agree, Bought a jar of coffee on special today at Woollies for 12.99, just now ducked into IGA and they have the same for 9.99 on special.

Woollies has put the gun to their own head with this one.

Matt

The only reason i visit WW now (till the December deadline) is to top up my Opel Card. With zero QFFF offers coming though, and the Coles Ethiad offers a plenty, its quite obvious where all the disgruntled WW folks have moved their spend.

They increased the staff discount from 5% to 10% for the rest of the year as part of the launch of this and as a "thank you". Management sent out a communication to all staff asking that they spend $20/week extra to pay for the discount...

Poor staff.

So my personal experience.

Two weeks of shopping has seen me spend approx $200. I have only purchased what I needed each week and have earned $1.79 in WW credits. A return of $0.00895 per dollar.

Even a bad QF redemption would see a return of $0.01 per QFF point let alone a great redemption of around $0.06 per QFF point.

Oh how my value has fallen!

The last two weeks have seen me switch all my shopping to Coles...
Yesterday I earned $15 back (in flyby points) on a $150 shop by stacking coupons.

Just received a targeted email from flybys......triple flyby's points for me at Coles next week.
Yet another week I won't be visiting a Woolies :)

This is the way to really accumulate points and then convert them into dollars off your shop. Our $153 shop last Friday ended up costing $53!!!

I received an email yesterday from Woolworths Rewards and Big W. It was attempting to get me to shop at Big W for the rest of the year and reminding me I could still get QFF points there until the end of the year. It promised to offer me special discounts, although there were no actual offers in the email (the pictures were there for sample only). The email couldn't even give the correct QFF points earn. It wrote it up one way in the body of the email and used a different explanation in the terms and conditions at the bottom. Right at the bottom of the email was the word TEST.

I have no idea if this email was supposed to be sent out or not. I was the only one in the family to receive the email even though all of the cards have been used at Big W in the past 2 years.

I stopped going out of my way to shop there once they exited the bonus points system. They would sometimes offer discounts on certain items for rewards members but these items were usually what I didn't want or were out of stock when I went there. I also found lots of my regular items out of stock and ended up going elsewhere.

Did anyone else get the same email with the above errors?

I also received a BigW offer email yesterday. When I say "offer", there actually wasn't any. Perhaps hollow promises?
It was promptly sent to trash.

Yes, I got exactly the same email - no offers just "sample only", "TEST" at the bottom of the email etc.

I rarely ever shop at Big W and the discount offer emails I used to receive were for items that I had no interest in and would never buy anyway.

Same, same, same. I gave up on Big W some time back even before they enhanced the in-store points earn.

WW group generating a new generation of kids that will never see he inside of a woolies or BigW.

I would hope that when they hire a new CEO, they will understand what has actually been happening and fix it and not just simply rely on what they are told internally at norwest.

I think that is disgraceful and disrespectful to their staff members who incidentally work their butts off and smile at the same time....Grrrr!!

I received that BigW email too and laughed that the work experience kids must be in over the weekend.
It has a picture of a GoPro, Samsung tablet and a juicer, with the word "SAVE" stamped on them, with a * Sample offers only, all under the heading "Exclusive offers until the end of this year".

same here.

What I find interesting about the Big W email is the implication that earning QFF points is desirable even though it is time-limited.
