See we all should be known, all that taco seasoning and cat food would be the end of it all.

There's no everyday low prices anymore. Only low prices always.

Even language is being enhanced

Indeed, everyday is over. In woolies-speak, everyday means everyday up to but not including the start of itchy and scratchy rewards.

So is this $0.63 per crumpet or per packet? I'd say the work experience kids are on duty currently but that would be offensive to them...

Isn't that illegal? If you can't buy by the weight, you need to provide the price as per one sold unit?

The unit pricing is also compulsory but that does not replace the standard selling price.

Woolworths should be hung out to dry for that.

WW obviously paid a lot of attention to my spending while pregnant. If I still was, I'd have 10 Woolworths Rupiah by Monday. image.jpg

WW has been doing this for a while, monitoring spending habits logged to the EDR card. It does a similar thing when you shop online, viz. if your online shopping basket doesn't seem to have things that you bought in the previous shop or seem to have ordered more often than not, it will prompt, "Did you forget this?"

Luckily WW only is guessing based on your habits and not your life status. Otherwise, a more appropriate recommendation might have been baby supplies.

I got my offers in my email today. As with others, no cost price of the item, so I'm not interested whatsoever.

I wasn't impressed with the lack of a price on the items. There was one item I buy on a regular basis but I only buy it on special. It wasn't worth buying it just for the WW $ as it wouldn't make the product any cheaper than if I had bought it on special.

I didn't see this so just goes to show how much notice I took of the email I received. Upon review of the email, offers with WWRupiah are the same however for standard 'specials' the proper price is shown.

From the few promotions I've seen, they appear to make a lot of use of the "put the prices up to finance the reward" game.

Surely this all has to be some bad joke? It's as if they've hired a first year marketing student to run their new program...

I wasn't terribly fussed by the loss of the QFF partnership, but what followed has definitely turned me off. Given that I can still get 5% off Coles vouchers through AGL Rewards, no more Woolies for me.

(EDIT: I lie. No more Woolies with the exception of Opal card top-ups, where I can still get Wish gift cards at 5% off through Entertainment book and 3ppd using Amex Plat Edge, LOL)

I tried to cut the Gordian knot, but there's no escaping these silly emails it seems

That's awesome! I had a good chuckle at the irony of not being able to escape these scammers.

Very annoying. My solution for this type of nonsense is to flag the sender as a spammer (easy to do in Gmail). No more emails and Woolworths gets a bad mark against their email.

Agree, Bought a jar of coffee on special today at Woollies for 12.99, just now ducked into IGA and they have the same for 9.99 on special.

Woollies has put the gun to their own head with this one.

Matt

Woolies TV ad today for TipTop Raisin Bread for $5.40 earning $2.70 Rupiah. I regularly only ever paid $2.30-2.50 for this before the new campaign. They've lost me.
Incidentally Coles also have this for sale at the non-sale price of $5.20, still cheaper than WW.
