What I ate today - the food thread

Saturday lunner - 3pm lunch - At Bocca Bokarina. Everything shared with my former practice partner and his wife.
First their Garlic bread.

Then Meat balls and truffled mushrooms.

Then desserts. Pannacotta, chocolate cannaloni and Limoncello meringue.
All really good. bookings at weekends advised. It was virtually full when we arrived.

Little tavern in Poznan

Beetroot dumplings with chicken in cream sauce with thyme. Plus salad.

"Grandma Helenas cutlet " With onion
and marjoram. New cabbage with tomato and dill. Mashed potatoes. The pork was roughly chopped and formed into a sort of meatball.

My wife had a drink of elderflower with mint and lime.

All were excellent.

Last night at our new favourite Thai restaurant. Love you Long Thai. Began with chicken satay. Not traditional but very nice.

Then pork with green veggies and ginger and shallots sauce. Plus Pad Thai with chicken. We shared.

As it was spicy food day yesterday I got a serving of chilli to add to my dinner.

One of the owners, a Thai lady, noticed that we had been a few times came over and had a chat with us. Was impressed that we had been to Thailand well over a 100 times.
