Amelia Park Shiraz 2014 at Costco for $12+. Bought a few bottles yesterday and cracked one open last night to see what all the fuss was about. Both MrsPantsoff and I were thoroughly impressed. Smooth, beautifully balanced and oh so moorish. Wines at this QPR are not good for the liver.

Looking forward to the case of the AP Cab/Merlot on the way from VM.

Opened an AP (ahem, Ironstone) cab merlot last night.
Quite happy for a tenner, definitely worth keeping for me. Shuffling the wine fridge around to fit the newbies in I found two bottles of the original 2012 AP cab merlot, so that was a pleasant surprise and I think we'll get into those ones first. :)

I just wanted to send you a quick update about your BLACK MARKET DEAL Shiraz 2015.

It turns out the wine we had in stock was actually the 2016, not the 2015! This was a bit of an admin error on our end - the wine was always meant to be the 2016 vintage. The tasting notes and all the info we had on our website was for the 2016, so it should still be everything you'd hoped for!

Also, you may notice a discrepancy between the regions on the front and back labels. The front correctly says it's from the Barossa, while the back incorrectly says it's from the Adelaide Hills. Guess they had a couple of wines before sticking that one on! ��

Sorry for the mix-ups, but I hope you still enjoy the wine. Of course, I do understand it's not quite what you ordered, so please let me know if you'd prefer to return the wine for a full refund.

Spoke to my Australia Post wine delivery guy today and he advised that from Monday they MUST check ID for alcohol deliveries. Blame the underage kiddies. Blame the internet. Blame the unicorns! Unfortunately that means bye bye to wine being left unattended moving forward.... and more work for Aus Post post offices. All that extra lifting!
 
I've been a bit out of the loop with VM over the last 6 months, has the Glenlofty SV release come and gone? Looking at last years purchasing that was much earlier in the year, so fearful I may have missed it?

I do have an 'alert' with my 'broker' at VM, but I haven't been alerted to the Fox Gordon stuff that recently came in that I asked them to do, so I'm not confident that system works too well.

I read it as they advertised 15 when it was in fact 16 and they meant to advertise as 16. Theres nothing wrong with the wine but they gave people the opportunity to cancel if they wanted the 15.
