I boomed on another case of the Amelia park last night after meeting up with a friend for a drink and seeing this on the menu...coincidentally they had run out

Anyone who order the FG Brothers and sisters shiraz from the FO received this email?

Hi,

I just wanted to send you a quick update about your BLACK MARKET DEAL Shiraz 2015.

It turns out the wine we had in stock was actually the 2016, not the 2015! This was a bit of an admin error on our end - the wine was always meant to be the 2016 vintage. The tasting notes and all the info we had on our website was for the 2016, so it should still be everything you'd hoped for!

Also, you may notice a discrepancy between the regions on the front and back labels. The front correctly says it's from the Barossa, while the back incorrectly says it's from the Adelaide Hills. Guess they had a couple of wines before sticking that one on!

Sorry for the mix-ups, but I hope you still enjoy the wine. Of course, I do understand it's not quite what you ordered, so please let me know if you'd prefer to return the wine for a full refund.

BLACK MARKET DEAL Semillon 2016 Delivered on Today (tracking as Tuesday 13th until today)

Earlier this week I had a 7kg box of books delivered plus three further individual items.
And a PS4 bundle delivered today.

That's a big dent in my (in)discretionary spending :cool:

If my workmates knew about the vino I don't think I'd get 5 minutes to myself ...
 
Too many good deals my credit card is crying. Had to boom on the Cab Merlot everyone is raving about, boomed on the Nebbiolo as it sounds interesting and also boomed on the Mornington Chardonnay - I'm assuming Seaglass due to the $50 rrp.

No, but I purchased a 6 pack from the Fo a while back based in having tried and purchased the '12 at the cellar door. The '12 was about $50 and I thought good value for money. So at about half price, I figured the '13 was worth a punt. Not opened a bottle yet though.

I think others have purchased this previously and perhaps can comment though?
 
I bought 6 , then another 6 and may have bought another 6 today with free shipping if I had somewhere to put them.
Under cork and some variation between bottles also a tad austere which I don't mind.

Is it just me or does everyone else sweat on the free shipping days and hope whatever we may have fancied is still there?

Also got a box of what I believe to be a Capel Vale Malbec. I'm very keen to taste this one as past vintages of the Malbec Cabernet Petit Verdot have been all time VM favourites of mine. I'm into to my last box of the 2010 and 2012. The 2011 sadly is long gone.

Has anyone tried the Capel Vale Malbec? I like the West Cape Howe Malbec that is further down south from Capel Vale. Always stock them up when I head down to Albany.
