True re bottle shape, however I was informed on quite close to home authority on the matter....

Edit: I have no doubt that the first vintage 2013 is one and the same, subsequent vintages though I have no opinion on the matter

Couldn't see the Shiraz/Mataro blend on Vivino but read your review on CT and curious to give it a whirl when it arrives to see whether my palate gives it the same response (wine-imbibing being a very personal matter at times;))

I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts. Based on AC's comments I'm viewing mine with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension. The pre-Christmas rush of offers being what it is, if I take his advice to wait a while for it to come together, I could just build a wall of other wine in front of it to keep myself at bay. Hard to go past CM 95pt Norfolk Rise Shiraz at $7.40 delivered with that Amex offer and the current free shipping. Too hard, it turns out.

You mean the Norfolk Rise? It does seem to have disappeared since this morning. It did have a "going, going..." sign on it. Perhaps a broker might be able to rustle some up...

Put: mof_ Secret Deal Cabernet Malbec 2013 into the search box at top-right. It's pretty much the first result (ignore the odd one that comes up first)

Rug has given me a pretty favourable review of the wine, it sounds like it's not too massive but has some reasonable complexity and length, I'm trying to adopt the "glass half full" state of mind on this one but will certainly do a honest appraisal when it arrives....cheers, W&D
