Vinomofo Wine Deals

I know what you are thinking. Just buy some and then I will know. It's what I was thinking as well, so is it another moment where ' great minds think alike' or
'fools seldom differ'. I will ponder that thought over a capricciosa tonight.

Wise or foolish, for the price a very nice wine. I had bought the 2014 from the Fo and thought it a nice drop for the price, well this is a lot classier for the same price. Although i mentioned it a couple or so weeks ago on the nice wines..thread, when it was up for about the same price but also free delivery via Winestar.

All very interesting Miss bick, personal recommendations count for a lot and it's one of the reasons I find engaging with the whole FF community (as far as wine goes) a rewarding experience. At least Norfolk Rise is something I can pick up from the local BSW and sample before committing to another case of wine winging its way to me (got two in transit as we speak!) damn, too much wine not enough time!

Can you get Norfolk Rise in BWS? if so quick get down there and have sip, will be yummy in a year or two or three, if it makes it that far, nice drinking now. For under 120.00 beats 2 cases of Boags draught....well maybe a tie:p

I'm about 98% certain that I've seen Norfolk Rise on offer (not sure whether it mightn't have been the Merlot) at the local BWS, I'll call in there tonight and report back, you're not a Taswegian too are you?

Yes, from the sunny south. BTW Norfolk Rise shows sold out on Vinomofo, but still in stock at winestar I think.
Going to try the Hart too, mine won't arrive until late next week. So that's me for the month or so, unless they come up with a great aussie malbec going for a song......or a WA Picardy red blend....

Whining&dining my new date for Hart order is Monday 22nd August. Cheers

I've got to rein in my natural impulsiveness, 25th of August for me...

Nothing very sunny at the moment down south Kingston Beach way, didn't make it to BWS after all, life got in the way as they say, never mind there's always tomorrow (I'm definitely curious now), could certainly go a Malbec or Mouvedre, it's the big guns for me ;) (or even a Durif for that matter)...

Thanks for the update, mine just shipped apparently but still due for delivery on the 25th, eight days "picking" still seems a fairly lengthy time to me compared to other 'Fo purchases I've made but never mind...Durif recommendation duly noted!

On another note I'd like to jump on the First Creek Cab Merlot cheapie https://wineclub.firstcreekwines.com.au/products/8925-00-2010-cabernet-merlot-dozen but it's unclear whether by registering as a buyer I'm committing to a quarterly wine delivery etc, anyone know how it works?

Just place your order and it will go through as a retail customer. As it is a clearance same price as club member. If you go to store you will see retail price and club price. It let me order but it is showing few left. Cheers

Thanks Rug have now got my third case of wine in a week and a half on its way-note to oneself: "must keep order details secret from Mrs W&D" ;)

Just looked up the Warrabilla Parola's limited release Durif and apart from the description of a "Hippo in a tutu" which I love incidentally, I'm heartbroken to see that it is well-nigh unavailable (2013 vintage) but the 2015 is showing on their site. Must admit the $145 for a dozen of their 55% Shiraz 35% Durif 10% Cab Sav 2015 cellar door cleanskin is mighty tempting too!

I know that it seems like we're drifting off-topic but I tend to think of it as "stream of consciousness" I spotted this on a flyer from WBW Possingham & Summers Malbec 2015 surely can't be too shabby...

You can buy standard reserve durif from Nicks Wine Merchants (one of Beekeepers haunts) in Doncaster East Victoria as well as the shiraz, zifandel and cabernet ( in Parolas limited release versions 2013 as well at the moment) at almost the same price as winery ($34.90) except you dont have to buy them by the case. Also my Hart delivery back out to Tuesday 23rd. Cheers.
