Glenlofty SV back up today I think. Anyone have an opinion on the '13 vs the '12 that many seemed to like?

The 2011 Glenlofty Shiraz-Viognier is hands down my favourite wine from the Fo'

So on that alone i bought two cases of the '13, it has incredible potential but at the moment drinks averagely, the acid is too high, palates closed off and sharp. Its just way too young in my opinion, give it a few years to settle down and it'll be amazing. That being said, chuck it in a decanter for a few hours to get a bit of air and it's totally different.

I tried two bottles at various times when i first purchased it but since then it resting nicely in the back of the cellar, i'll try to dig up some in depth tasting notes when i get home.

it just needs time, either in a cellar or in a decanter.

It's almost certainly this....

They're selling lots of this on here at the moment, I picked up the better rated 2005 for $50 a bottle recently, yet to try it.

The vital difference between this one and the Cantiniere is that the Savitar is a commercially released wine with show results and critics scores, rather than a "made for mof_s" special release.
