Vinomofo Wine Deals

If you check the 2015 RQWS results, there's only one 2014 GSM that scored 95 from McLaren Vale...
Is the normal retail price of this one a little skewed, as the one I see has a nominal ex-cellar door retail of only $15. A doubleback or is that a Shingleback like ita buttrose would say certainly could tie the knot on this deal, but the pricing positively perplexes. Shay dat like Ita.

I think I have found my Little Berries on the second viewing. Oops, the pricing is more approachable. However, both got 95 at the same show !

My apologies - for some reason I thought Singleback was Barossa, but it turns out that they are McLaren Vale too! It's the Little Berries - sorry for the bum steer.

I'm guessing the 6pack might be the Wolf Blass, given the 4 Jimmy Watson trophies. Possibly the White Label Robe Mt Benson, since the RRP and the 96pts match up (JH gave it 96). Not sure what the $180 2013 shiraz is - that's getting into RWT / Meshach territory, or overpriced China marketed stuff

concur on the Mt Benson Shiraz Cab but no idea on the single here

Back to the Grenache, I am getting a bit itchy and impatient as it reads very well, also following on from a mediocre 2013 Grenache. Plus, a little bit of variation in the varietl always helps, plus the very long cellaring potetntial. What am I doing here, trying to sell it to myself. A bit like Steadys Penfolds - how many did you buy mate?

I loved the Lost Buoy which has a cellar door price of $30. I bought it at a steal for around 7.50 a bottle and is definitely a special occasion wine. I'm going to be buying this one!

Vinomofo or winedirect? Loved their 2012 bargain and on last bottles. :(

They've given us absolutely nothing to work with except a 97 point score, no critic mentioned. Rockford Basket Press? Wolf Blass Platinum Label? I imagine they might give away the fact both were from the same producer so seems unlikely. Peter Lehmann Stonewell? They've had it before but $180 is way overs. Kaesler Old cough? I think they've had a few Kaeslers before.

I'm stumped and RWT is my best guess

Not Old cough cellar price is $220.00

Good to see they've put the region back on each wine listing so you dont have to click into each one to see where its from...

Just a quick endorsement for the customer service team at the 'Fo. Although stating otherwise on their Ts and Cs, I have just been told that they would never deduct a shipping charge off the order credit even when bought as one of three cases. Also - they appear happy to return the money back onto my credit card once the case is picked up. In light of this, I am rather motivated to spend the "credit" before it's even returned.

Question is, ... the grenache or the merlot...? :)

How does Vinomofo's return policy work with mixed cases......? can I buy a mixed case of 7, try one (RWT) and then return the rest for a full refund  :D

The 6 Wolf Blass (agree with you it is probably White Label) are worth ~$150 so the Shiraz would need to be something absolutely phenomenal to make it worth bothering with.

Penfolds RWT is the only Barossa Shiraz I can think of that would be worth raising at that price, and got 97 points from Andrew Caillard, but I don't remember them ever having Penfolds before. What if it is something like Meschach which would be an immense ripoff?

Am I the only one who can't seem to locate the pack you're all referring to here?

It was a VIM offer yesterday. I don't think it has gone site wide yet.

This was mentioned in #9289 - although the poster of that message failed to provide any useful details except 'latest VIM offer'.
