IIRC it was reported here that it was under export labelling...

I was expecting an even worse-case scenario with the export labelling being branded Ironstone instead of Amelia Park altogether. In which case I was going to get on my high-horse and send them a strongly worded email. So in this case it's not as bad as I was assuming, and taste will tell.

I agree with the general sentiment that the quality of offerings from VM has degraded significantly over the last two years. Although I don't post here often I have keenly listened and taken advantage a many of the deals, with a few return to senders in there too. My buying from VM has definitely petered off in recent times, you just can't rely on VM to offer genuine good deals anymore. It seems in the meteoric rise of their company they've lost their edge to find and deliver true value and now rely on careless over-hype to sell average wines at exactly what they're worth.

Was thinking the exact same thing earlier this week when I opened a bottle of this:

K1 Tzimmukin 2010 - Wines by Geoff Hardy

This was a VM purchase I made at least 3 years ago. I recall it being around $60 a bottle. It was an outstanding wine and a genuine bargain. Wish I'd bought a lot more at that price. I doubt I'll be saying the same about anything I've purchased from VM within the last year.

Amelia Park slash Ironstone Cab Merlot is back. Expected online tomorrow - can order by phone today. Also plenty of the Shiraz left. Cheers!

Is VM still using Nexday for their deliveries?

I used to be able to grab the order number and track it on Nexday site but the last two orders have not been recognised
