"Best Italian Wine of 2016" and yet scored 84 at Decanter World Wine awards
Tasting Notes: 2013 Duca di Saragnano 'Vecciano' Toscana IGT, Tuscany, Italy

I've tried a few VM imports and can't say any have been impressive. Has anyone made any import purchases they would recommend?
Hi baiden; I bought prancing horse 2011 wjite burgundy at $75 per bottle (3pk) and its a winner. Rich but not excessive; smooth; and a delight to the palate. Should have bought more the ladies loved it at my wifes birthday.

Hi Sedimental; not a fan of VM imports their BS equals the wine. These are reviews for your suggestion courtesy of my wine guy Just click on reviews.
2013 San Marzano Anniversario 62 Primitivo Riserva - My Wine Guy.
Cheers

The wine certainly reads like a dream Rug! It's a shame that the 'FO throws so many superlatives around in their descriptions in an effort to attract the punters, I for one run a country mile when companies feel it necessary to hype their products up as it usually indicates that something is lacking somewhere :-|

Been out of the loop with VM offers lately as I was deleting their emails without opening (too much wine).
Any good deals to use in conjunction with AMEX offer?

I didn't get the VM offer on any of my AMEXs, I have two no annual fee cards, the Discovery and the Essential cards.

I also didn't get it on my NAB Premium AMEX which I spend heavily on. I got the Ayers rock offer on all cards.

They obviously aren't using the big data they have on me properly. I spend a lot money on wine not geological vacations.

Have you ordered from VM lately? (I haven't but used to)

I don't think this offer is available on non-Amex issued cards.
Also, how do you know they're not using the data properly? If you already spend on wine, do they need to offer you any further encouragement?

Hi Whining & dining yes it was wonderful. You are correct that the more the Fo throws BS around usually the wine is a bigger disappointment. I am very apprehensive of the no name deals but like with the Prancing Horse and other named wines you can easily do research and make an informed decision. Belated Happy New Year to you. That other company that sounds like Packer is as bad as the FO in their hype/BS as well. Cheers
