Vinomofo Wine Deals

Sold out...I purchased without knowing, which is unusual for me. Under ten, 2011 was a good year in the region, 5 star winery, tasting notes sound decent....sold ;)
I will be very interested on this one. I didn't buy any, but I think good chardonnay leads to the house of 'Wisdom'. I was trying to deduce, as well as amuse, but I thought on......and was lead to Houghton....it should be good at the price, the year, the region.

Don't know what time their couriers start, but my Wynns was delivered to my carport before I left for work this morning.

VIM is here.
Any idea.
Would you believe it - cellar until 2045!!
Will I still be around?

Haha, I certainly intend on being around at that time! Won't be participating in this particular purchase though....well actually that depends....
Wow, sold out in less than 40 mins...guess I won't be buying after all.

How did everyone's Trapeze Pinot Noir go? Got mine this week, very happy with it. Smooth, fruity, super drinkable now but will hopefully enjoy a couple of years laying down. May well have to ask my "broker" for some more if it is around.
Also got my hands on a "Secret Deal" 2012 Pinot Grigio from Adelaide Hills last week. Turns out it was a Tomich Woodside and it is mega quaffable, nice and fruity without being overbearing, finishes sharp. Will destroy this case over summer. I had the Tomich Woodside Sauv Blanc a couple of weeks ago - also great.

If it is anything like their shiraz, it will be easy to drink but nothing life changing - "good value". Or it could be much better! How much weight do people put on show points?
That said, I do like a shiraz viognier. Tempting.
