It’d be good if that better connection came up so I’ll shall make a note to check back to see if the married segments drop. Thanks Mel-T.

However, close in to departure (starting from about 2 weeks out, but particularly 7 days and again 2-3 days before departure) CX usually opens up their F cabins and will convert just about everything left over to award availability.

At that time the married segments may change or be removed, opening up more options for you (including the shorter connection).
