I am sure you viewed the helicopter flying through a different set of eyes to me. To me it was just a helicopter flying back and forth.

.... and the pilot of the B105 support helicopter was an idiot.

Point taken. Where I said 'idiot' I probably should have said 'dangerous' :!:

Still, I have to confess I know so little about helicopter flying that I did not see it as dangerous. Perhaps you could enlighten me as to what in particular was dangerous (given that at times I was right underneath said helicopter!)

Short answer to a long story.

Mainly to do with flying over crowds and buildings and allowing (or other wise) for single engine accountability. A/c was also observed to land beside its refuel point with rotors over an individual who then immediately commenced to refuel the helo without proper earthing. Whilst still refueling the a/c was shutdown which meant that the 'hot' refuel (with all its associated risks) was not really required. In summary both dumb and dangerous :!:

Do I at least get a medal for joining this Winners' Podium? :D
Just having your name engraved in the winners podium honour roll should be adequate reward. ;)

If you would like a medal I can recommend some cheap trophy shops. :p

Thanks Ross. You have saved me the time to look up all the missing threads and then send PM to moderator for update to the Winners Podium.

Good to see new names on the Honour Roll....
