Re: New Promo - Design Hotel

Not a specific promotion but just a reminder that a lot of Starwood Hotels still run the stay x pay y nights promos, even when not advertised in the offers section of their hotel pages. These are prepaid rates and often only on a specific arrivals days. For me they are usually the cheapest rates available:

The codes to search are

Z6H
Z5H
Z4H
Z3H
with the number being the number of nights you wish to book - the H is a R for resort properties. EG Z6R etc

Re: New Promo - Design Hotel

There is a sale on at the moment. Works out US$2.10 per point. Its normal to get $4-$6 for redemption's so a good deal.

Re: SPG Twice as Nice Dining Promotion March to June 2016

Didn't get an email alert about the dining promotion - thanks for the heads up. Have now registered and will look to take advantage!

Re: SPG Twice as Nice Dining Promotion March to June 2016

no worries mate, I flicked it to the loyalty lobby chap early today.. They had a similar promo apparently in 2014.

There was no email on this one for me explicitly, ..it was in my monthly account summary email I get from them ...I often don't read them but it turns out some of them are in fact hidden with gems!

Thanks! Registered.

Does anybody know the process with getting the points and using the 15% off for SPG members? Just show them your spg card on your phone?

hi jackthomas,

not or even just tell them you are a Starwood member ...they will whip out a blue or purple slip and fill in your membership # and a few other details and points will post 2 days later. if the person isn't clear on the process ask for someone more senior...

I have not had points credited at either Sheraton Sydney and W Hollywood with the slip method. Must say I have never chased up though

Posts online do suggest that they almost always need to be chased up with SPG..
The menu @ Sheraton Melbourne's cafe looks quite good for quick lunches and breakfast in Melbourne, however their menu is too affordable to meet the USD $10 minimum... Good problem to have.

I've never had a problem with SPG points crediting when provided with the slip, actually.

Perfect timing. I'm in desperate need of an activity to keep my points alive... luckily, I've got a need to be on the Gold Coast and Cairns over the next few weeks. Have just booked a couple of long weekends at Mirage Gold Coast and Port Douglas  First stay at both properties.

FWIW Port Douglas have a 3,000 point bonus offer. Pity Mirage GC isn't running the same offer.
