Well the official rules state that you can only use the QP before a flight not after arrival, that is why posters are saying you could have but not guaranteed access. The exception of course are those OW Emeralds that have access anytime they want.Flashware said:I also have lifetime QP, so lounge access isn't a problem.
Yep, sorry - makes sense. After reading serfty's post again it now reads like that. I read it as just being "because you're PS doesn't mean you're guaranteed access"Altair said:Well the official rules state that you can only use the QP before a flight not after arrival, that is why posters are saying you could have but not guaranteed access. If it is only an hour I would simply go straight to the QP. You bag should come out downstairs and start making laps of the carousel. After a while the carousel will be stopped and uncollected bags will be gathered and taken to Qantas baggage services.
When you are finished with the QP, head down to Qantas T3 baggage services counter and collect your bag.
(Please note, when doing this, there is the very slight risk that someone may take a liking to your bags and decide to appropriate them.)
Thank you very much Good news, what I did... is I saw 3 guys going up to the QP in Sydney, so I followed them and just flashed my thing and kept on walking through. Couldn't have been happier. Mate came an hour later, and we went out for the night - just got home now! Awesome night! But.. thanks for the advice.serfty said:Flashware, congratulations on you PS.
How did it go this evening with the QP , your luggage and meeting your friend?
I hope all went well.
