August for me: I currently read:

Current Status: Platinum
Status reassessment will occur: 31 Aug 2009
Status credits earned from 01 Sep 2008: 840
Additional Status credits required by 31 Aug 2009 to retain Platinum: 360

Current lifetime Status credits: 10,247

Strangely I have those extra 7 status credits, don't know how that happened....

Would be Tier Credits.

* Status credits will be added to any Tier credits accumulated from their introduction in September 1998 until they were replaced by Status credits in September 2001.

Currently WP (comped last year, ended up 20 SC short of the 1200)
Status reassessment will occur: 31 May 2009
Status credits earned from 01 Jun 2008: 400
Additional Status credits required by 31 May 2009 to retain Platinum: 800

Current Lifetime credits 8360 (no odd amounts for me - almost all my SCs were earned from 2001)

Need 800 SC in just under 7 months. Since I only ever seem to shuttle back and forth between SYD and MEL it may be difficult, even with Mr & Mrs Tooner's J-trip to Christchurch/Queenstown in March 2009!

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

With the original Tier Credits from Sep 1998, short discount why flights earned 8 TC's (e.g. MEL/SYD), other flights earned 10, 12, 15, 20 ... .

When SC's were originally introduced, all SC's earned were in multiples of 10.

I had this similar issue with an orphan 5 LT SC's floating around until the May 2005 changes when earnable SC's became multiples of 5.
