Why does it take the mouth of Tim Clark for people to listen to what is more likely the truth than the sob story, downtrodden BS that people like Sandilands trot out

At least the new QP will ease some of the strain!

As well as the additional responsibilities for Olivia Wirth at QF - its interesting to note that Andrew Parker will be taking responsibility off Olivia Wirth for dealing with governments (presumably australian state and federal, as well as foreign governments).

"... to advise that Andrew Parker will be joining Qantas and taking up a new role as the Group Executive, Government and International Affairs, reporting to me. He will be a member of the Group Management Committee.

Andrew is a highly respected airline executive. He joined Emirates in 2007 as the Senior Vice President – Public, International, Industry and Environmental Affairs, where he was instrumental in growing the Emirates global network and managing government and stakeholder relations worldwide. Andrew also played a key role in forming the partnership between our two airlines.
Prior to Emirates, Andrew served as press secretary and political adviser to various state and federal political leaders and ministers. Andrew established a public affairs agency in Australia, which was later acquired by Ogilvy Worldwide. He will join us in July, and until that time Olivia will retain responsibility for this area."

Are QF building a business/Plat lounge in PER ?

If the initial move to T3 has them sharing with VA, before VA moves completely to T2, then perhaps one lounge will become a QP and the other a J lounge, but probably not until they have exclusive use of both terminals. Having never been to WA, are the terminals even connected?
