Qantas First Lounge in Singapore

I have a 1:45am CX flight - it's only occurred to me now that this technically does not fit the eligibility criteria for lounge access if I was to show up at 10pm (not a same day flight). Does anyone have experience with this situation? Travelling J as QF Plat.

It *does* technically fit the criteria - your departure is prior to 6am the following day.

Visited shortly after opening on 14 May - Pretty sure it is the same menu as previously posted.

Started with the Stracciatelli:


And prawn wontons:


Laksa for main:


Club sandwich for dessert:


All excellent. If you don't like chilli... perhaps avoid the wontons. I liked them though.

Service was superb. Sydney QF First has been consistently inconsistent for me (which probably is a perfect reflection of the airline). The staff here were truly tremendous

Cotoletta - was "gently" suggested I have it with a side like greens so did.

While not as moist as most dishes here it was fine, the greens were nice as well.

Thank you. That’s exactly the information we need confirmed. (Especially as I will be on QF256 in August. )

Posting from the lounge now.

When you come off the flight, someone from Changi is holding a sign directing you to the Q Business Lounge. We are reboarding from the same gate.

Staff at the desk told me that the Q Business Lounge is open just for this flight, they are only accepting Qantas passengers going on to Sydney and no other OW passengers and will shut directly after everyone clears out. Full service available, but half the lounge is closed off.

Yes, I think I saw a post on here from someone who was there recently and said that only the an lounge is open

I am flying from CDG to PER in August. Qantas emailed this week that the former direct flight will now refuel in Singapore. Perfectly understandable. However, the B787 will then go on to SYD, while PER passengers have a 6-hour layover followed by a 5-hour flight in a Boeing 737! (These are paid J seats.)

The flight from CDG lands at 04:05. Will Qf open at least the J lounge for passengers? This is well outside the usual opening hours for all airline lounges. Sitting around the airport, even Changi, for 3.5 hours is not my idea of business class service.

Watch the "chutney" that comes with the parratha, it kicks butt!

From Legendary restaurant Qantas pilots flocked to closes after 100 years looks like a couple of dishes from Fatty's will be on the menu for a limited time.

It's been a while since I last had the nuclear chicken. Hopefully it's around in a month when I depart SIN.

Note that, at least for the time being, the QF F SIN lounge now only opens at 4.30pm, not 3.30pm as it used to. That came as a surprise recently, though of course the J lounge is open from earlier in the afternoon as a back up.
