You all sound like babies! “I can’t eat a meal unless it has meat in it!” Seriously? That is such an immature way to get around.

How about "If I am paying J class money on an Australian airline I expect to be provided with meat as a main course"? The vast majority of Australians (~95%) eat meat, if you do not and want a special meal then feel free to get one, but give the majority what they want.

The ability to pre-order will come some day. Or, choose another carrier that provides the meat dishes.

Dnata catering (out of BNE and other Aus ports) accommodates preordering by multiple airlines, a good example being SQ with Book the Cook.

It’s a matter of how much (or little) money QF is willing to pay their caterer.

Around $1.50 per meal I suggest. Gotta keep executive bonuses up.
