I flew PEK-XIA with tickets in Y and M earlier this year on MU, which I tried to claim QFF for as per the earning table. However I logged in recently and on my Activity Statement it said the claim was rejected due to 'no record' of the flight being taken. This despite me sending scans of the boarding passes and a cover letter explaining what they were along with the e-ticket numbers (which were also on the boarding passes).

Has anyone else had a similar problem with claiming MU points? It's not possible to use the online tool so one must fax or post in the details. I sent mine by fax.

This does not bode well. I have four sectors this week with MU, although one was an FM codeshare so, I suspect won't be eligible for points.

i'll follow up next week and see how I fair.

Try emailing along with attached original emailed e-ticket receipt and scans of any other documentation including BP's, noting the already rejected claim and the reasons why you reject the rejection:

After intially lodging the claim via the WP call centre, I have now emailed various docs. Will post the outcome.

Perhaps I can assist. Please send me a private message with the details as reference.

Alternatively, you may contact our Frequent Flyer team directly on 13 12 11 for immediate assistance.

Sorted within two days including a personal follow up call from the platinum desk.

I used to have similar problems to this when flying Air China and getting miles credited to my SQ account. It would pay to check that your frequent flyer account has any middle names mentioned because the air ticket normally would mention your middle name. Seemed to the Chinese playing it safe in case two people with potentially similar names on the same flight!

PM sent. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Received an e-mail from the QFF Service Centre confirming the points had been credited. Many thanks to Red Roo for taking the time to assist!
