There will certainly be some businesses that are carrying large amounts of debt.

This week I had good discussions with Acumentis, Energy Action and Waterco. I fly back to Perth tomorrow. All three companies should grow their profits in the next two years.
Was disappointed with the end of the week price for WMC which is Wiluna Mining. I may buy more once the price stabilizes but if gold price tanks then maybe not.

JB HiFi as well, has had a bad year like most retail stocks down about 40%

Things are so chaotic across the world at the moment that it is hard to know which way gold is going to go. SX2 fell quite a way this week - will be interesting to see how much further it goes.

Unfortunately AUQ has fallen quite a bit too, am hoping that a good quarterly report will boost it back up.

Bought ACW (Actinogen Medical Limited) today. They are testing an Alzhiemer's treatment they have called XanaMIA (Xanamem) and until recently were running 2b/3 phase double blind trials. The trials are finished and now many of the trial participants have agreed to move onto open label extension trials in which participants will receive the actual drug for 25 months. In November the company will release the results of the trial and I expect there might be a run up in price into this news.

Then I expect you paid 2c or less. I paid 4c after watching it pull back from early sixes after investors got a bit excited when the trial finished. I had earlier looked to buy early 3s but funds were allocated elsewhere.

Has been a rough day for @CaptainCurtis and I - AUQ released their quarterly before opening this morning and it has dived nearly 15% - there didn't seem to be anything unexpected in the quarterly, but I think that some shareholders are getting impatient for the loan that was used to build the process plant to be repaid.

Not everything goes according to plan when you invest in the stock market. With larger stocks you can get in and out typically in a day or two.
