Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

Keep in mind that even if you see a status of “Confirmed” (which seems like it should mean something…), the game isn’t really finished until you get a new ticket number 081xx_xx_xx.
Sorry for going on like a cracked record (do the younger folk understand that metaphor any more?), but it comes from bitter experience……
JAL recently removed two of my flights (though not Mrs Nick strangely) from an already ticketed OWA even though I had not made any recent changes. Took two weeks and an escalation to the rewards escalations team to get them reinstated though now Mrs Nick and I are on different tickets which is a little inconvenient.

So it seems, even an eTicket doesn't necessarily mean you are 100% guaranteed.

This is concerning for me. I have a completed change, "ticketed" 2-3 weeks ago? Except QF can't send me an eticket, it keeps sending me the old one. Every other Oneworld airline +CMT shows the new eticket numbers, half of them can even send me an eticket and the correct flights, except for QF lol.

Hopefully I have 5/10 flights with JL, hopefully I don't get booted lol...

Qantas resend tool generally only ever sends a copy of the original e-ticket.

Try Finnair e-ticket facility. It sends current booking information to the e-mail already attached to the booking.

Order your e-ticket receipt | Finnair

Yep, Finnair/BA/CX all send updated "correct" (presumably) e-ticket, MH won't send a ticket but shows the same (presumably) correct e-ticket number next to every flight. Been 2-3 weeks, nothing has dropped off yet.

QF has sent updated e-tickets in the past though.

Couldn't get through this evening, I guess everyone is hammering the centre trying to make last minute changes before 5 August. Oh well.

If my JL bookings get randomly nuked despite having a ticket I'll deal with it later I guess....

Doesn't the Finnair email include all flights in the PNR?

If there is.an 081- ticket number then.you are all good.

The Finnair/CX/BA/MH/Everyone else eticket number is different from the QF eticket number.

The Rest of universe Eticket number has all 10 flights. The MH app shows this explicitly listed next to every flight, just like CMT used to. The QF eticket has only 8 flights before the change.

Subsequent e-tickets ordered through Qantas still show both myself and Mrs Nick as passengers with our unique e-ticket numbers.

The e-ticket downloaded from Finnair shows only Mrs Nick and the e-ticket number is the same as that on the Qantas e-ticket.

Our first flights are with AY so will be presenting the Finnair e-tickets at check in. I really don't want to follow up with Qantas as more than likely, something will go wrong and we commence our OWA later this month.

No need to present the e-tickets at the counter. Just your passport and say where you’re flying to.

If Mrs Nick’s travel didn’t change, neither will the ticket number. You have the new ticket number for your travel, which did change.

Update:
Cathay reinstated my seats.... Yayyy.
Thanks everyone specially @MEL_Traveller @WanderBug in keeping me on top of the issue and hopeful.

The change fee is 5k per passenger or per booking reference? as they charged me 20k for 2 booking reference which has 2 passenger each.

Once gain Thanks you all
