Now I keep checking to make sure IB don't take the seat back again.
Whilst it's great that the Philippines has no fuel fines, unless you are actually intending on heading there anyway, you would still have to pay for a fare to get to MNL so the saving is less than it really is on face value.
BA files their fuel fines (YQR) as insurance fines (YQI) which is why if you use BA you still get hit.

Have you factored in the cost of the positioning flight?
How many surface sector are allowed in the award? Also is it maximum of 12 months between the first flight and the last flight? Thinking of splitting our trip into 2 over 12 months instead of 1 long trip.
Is there a one world carrier that flies into/out of Vancouver?
Re-ticketing takes longer than ticketing...In the past the e-tickets were issued really quickly but this time it's still not issued after a day, is there a point when I should start to get worried? My credit card and Qantas account hasn't been charged either, although I can see the additional leg in the existing booking and it is also visible on the Japan Airline website.
There doesn't seem to be any pattern to this. Usually I find it gets reissued the same day but sometimes it takes a day or 2 or even 2 weeks as I had recently. If your itinerary is updated online it is probably ok. As long as the relevant airline doesn't take the seat back but that's another story.Generally how long it takes for the e-ticket to be issued that requires a manual adjustment? Yesterday I added a Japan Airline flight to my existing J RTW booking, but the agent had to manually adjust the points required because the system tried to double charge me on point cost. (The ticket was originally issued at 221k points, then it went to 280k points after adding a CX flight, but now the system doesn't recognise the fact that it is already at 280k points and tries to charge me for the difference between 280k and 221k points again when I add a Japan Airline flight).

I emailed the FF team about potential overcharging mentioned earlier in the thread. They admitted there was, by taxes being calculated incorrectly and I got a refund of $500 or so.

I made a change, adding a CX leg. It was significantly higher than what was deemed to be normal. I paid anyway. Can you elaborate about the overcharging please? I might have missed it earlier in the thread.
Update on my serially deleted IB flight. It was deleted for the 3rd time again this week. It seems to get deleted every Wednesday. I advised the CC the info provided by madrooster. She said we always do that. So I was put on hold for 20 mins and she came back and said she did as suggested by madrooster (she didn't confirm if it had been done earlier or not) and reissued the ticket which previously they hadn't done. She was very helpful and said she would monitor it for a few days. So here's hoping it worked this time. Thanks to madrooster for his info.IB requires a FQTR SSR for anything in a redemption class. If there is no FQTR SSR, IB will cancel the seat, ticketed or not. FQTR - not FQTV which is much more common.
If it's a PNR that was originally created over the phone, PM me the record locator and I can check for you whether your PNR is setup correctly. If it wasn't created over the phone initially, call QF and ask them the above.
That doesn’t sound right to me as I have previously done just that. Did you get the Oz CC or SA? SA are hopeless and don’t know the conditions. I’d call back and try again. To get the premium cc in Oz try using the call back service.Do anyone know a way to force a ticket through the queue? I just called to add my last flight segment to my RTW J ticket but it has been declined because the e-ticket hasn't been issued since last change I made on Tuesday. She said she can't help me until the ticket has been re-issued, but the problem is the reward availability can easily book out while I wait for Qantas to re-issue my ticket and I have been waiting since Tuesday, anyone got ideas beside contacting Qantas on social media?
